STEAM Program provides a collaborative learning experience between our volunteer teachers and students from our partner schools. In this program, we travel onsite to our partner school, Chishang Middle School, to meet with fun and lively students who we mentor through hands-on maker activities and innovative workshops centered around the concept of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). Students are motivated to actively participate in building models and more, fostering core skills such as teamwork and problem-solving along the way.
PLG encourages active social practice and aims to foster a strong understanding of the importance of social engagement among college students. Additionally, we address the sustainability challenges and feasibility concerns of our communities through collaboration with corporations that carry out CSR (corporate social responsibility). Business professionals work alongside our volunteers in mentoring the students, creating a unique learning experience that showcases the benefits of a collaboration of USR (university social responsibility) and CSR.
